SUNSHINE CHRISTIAN HOMES, INC. (SCH) DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE IN HIRING OR EMPLOYMENT ON THE BASIS OF RACE, COLOR, RELIGIOUS CREED, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX OR ON THE BASIS OF AGE OR PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HANDICAP UNRELATED DISABILITY TO PERFORM THE WORK REQUIRED.
SCH is required to complete a level two background screening to determine if a person is eligible for employment based upon state guidelines. Additional background screening may be completed after an offer has been extended to an applicant. Additional background screening may include (but is not limited to) drug testing, tuberculosis testing, health screening and department of motor vehicle history. SCH reserves the right to determine if the company will pay the initial expenses (exact amount subject to change) of the pre-hire screening or if the employee will be asked to cover part or all of the expenses. If SCH covers any initial expense, provided the employee passes their 90-Day introductory period the employee will not be charged. Otherwise, the amount paid by SCH would be deducted from the employee’s final check. If the employee covers the expense and completes the 90-Day introductory period, the employee will be eligible for reimbursement. The employee that covers these initial expenses WILL NOT be reimbursed if the employee DOES NOT complete the 90-Day introductory period regardless of reason. If the employee’s expense is paid by a third party (organization), then the third party would be eligible to receive reimbursement upon the employee’s successful completion of the 90-Day introductory period, not the employee.
